Champion 3: Dr. Gustav Gousspeaker, coach, author, and transformation leadership change agent

Dr. Gustav Gous is the founder of the Game of Life for internal refocusing and The Short Walk to Freedom a transformational program that has run for 26 years on Robben Island, South Africa where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. Champion 4: Michael Smithinternational athlete and financing services specialist

Michael Smith is a Canadian Olympian and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist for the decathlon, proudly carrying Canada’s flag into the Barcelona Olympics opening ceremony in 1992. Michael was ranked in the world’s top 10 for 10 years in

a row, from 1989 to 1998 and he still holds the world's best performance for the 3 combined throwing events in the decathlon (shot put, discus, and javelin). Smith retired from the sport in 1999 and is now in financial services, also providing commentary for CBC and CTV. As a former board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters Calgary, Michael values mentoring for sport, business, and life.  Learn More

Champion 5: Michael Bruchetinternational golf tour player, golf coach, author, and public speaker

Michael Bruchet is an all-around athlete who zeroed in on golf at age 15 when he began his golf career. In 1996, Michael faced a tragedy that left him too injured to compete. A move to Asia and work with a Chinese doctor helped him heal and got him back competing and coaching golf on the world stage. After 20 years of competing on golf's world stage, earning a 500 World Asian ranking and finishing 26th on the Order of Merit for the Thai Tour, he began coaching using his “Mind, Body, Balance” program. Michael designed the program for optimal levels of performance by creating a strong mind, a healthy body, and a balanced life that saw benefits in all areas of his clients’ lives.  Learn More
